Thyroid Profile
What the Thyroid Profile checks
The Thyroid Profile measures thyroid-stimulating hormone and key thyroid hormones to help assess how your thyroid gland is functioning. Thyroid hormones are involved in metabolism, energy, temperature regulation, heart rate, and general wellbeing.
This profile may be useful if you are investigating symptoms such as tiredness, weight change, feeling unusually hot or cold, mood changes, or if you are monitoring an existing thyroid condition with appropriate medical support.
Biomarkers included
Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH)
Free thyroxine (Free T4)
Free triiodothyronine (Free T3)
