Full Blood Count (FBC)
What the Full Blood Count checks
The Full Blood Count, often called an FBC, measures the main cells and indices in your blood. It can support assessment of general health, tiredness, infection or inflammation markers, anaemia-related concerns, and platelet levels.
This test is commonly used as part of routine health checks and wider blood test packages because it gives useful baseline information about blood cells and oxygen-carrying capacity.

Important information
An FBC can highlight patterns that need follow-up, but results should be interpreted in context. If your result is abnormal or you feel unwell, speak to a qualified healthcare professional.
